Texas makes the cut at LB Anthony Hill’s top five-star schools
One of the best linebackers in the country resides in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area. Anthony Hill of Denton Ryan High School is the nation’s No.1 linebacker on the 247Sports composite and is drafted by programs across the country.
Hill narrowed his list of 30 offers to a top 12 on Tuesday afternoon. Texas made the cut, while Oklahoma and many SEC schools are also listed.
Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M and USC are the full list.
The five-star linebacker made a few unofficial visits over the summer. He was in Austin for the junior day in June, along with other top prospects. Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas A&M also received visits.
Returning to the field, Hill finished with 105 tackles on Denton Ryan’s 5A-DI State Championship winning team last season. Eleven of the tackles were for a loss with three sacks.
