Hardeep Singh Puri visits Hill Station with his wife, says it’s where the couple first met

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri recently posted some photos with his wife Lakshmi Puri and shared their love story. In an Instagram post, he revealed the name of the place where he met his wife and fell in love with her. The minister recalled the good old days of his first meeting with Lakshmi in a beautiful post he shared on Sunday. He informed his supporters that the photos he posted were captured against the backdrop of the Mussoorie Mountains.

Sharing the photos on Instagram, Puri informed that he had met Lakshmi, a former Indian diplomat, at Mussoorie – the famous hill station in the Dehradun district of Uttarakhand.

“This is where we first met, fell in love and decided to spend our lives together,” he said.

The couple were once again in Mussoorie to attend the launch of the National Academy of Administration Foundation Course.

The post from Puri, which has several ministries under its wing, including Oil and Natural Gas, garnered more than 2,400 likes on Instagram. In comment, many congratulated the couple for all these years of complicity.

“That’s incredibly sweet sir, a perfect fairy tale. May the good times last until eternity. You are a great inspiration to the nation, the archetypal couple of power and role models for the next generation. More power for you, ”wrote one Instagram user.

Many others have described the couple as “a beautiful couple”, “a beautiful couple” and “made for each other”.

Puri and his wife Lakshmi served India as civil servants. Lakshmi worked for 15 years at the United Nations, before serving as Indian Foreign Officer for 28 years until 2002.

Puri served as Assistant Secretary-General at the United Nations and Deputy Executive Director of UN Women, which works for gender equality. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014 and later became Union Minister.
