CROSS COUNTRY: CMS Girls Win at Tri-County Meet

The Cherokee Middle School girls’ cross-country team is featured after their first-place finish at a meet hosted by Tri-County Early College on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 31. MURPHY — For the second week in a row, the Cherokee Middle School (CMS) women’s cross country team came out on top by winning a competition hosted by Tri-County Early College on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 31. Livia Crowe led the way with a final time of 13:34.9 for first place

Dvdaya Swimmer took first place in the high school girls race with a time of 20:16.2, and her brother, Ogana Swimmer, took second place in the middle school boys race with a time of 11:35 ,1.
